Art Deco 18ct cushion cut sapphire, yellow diamond and old cut diamond ring

DESCRIPTION

A stunning original Art Deco old cut diamond and sapphire ring set in 18ct white gold. It has likely had a replacement shank so in perfect working order with minimal wear, but as a result lost its original hallmark. To me, this is likely French in origin.

The most superb natural cushion cut sapphires, superb condition, no scratches flawless to the naked eye! Stunning natural stones; 4 x 3.5mm
Central diamond, light yellow in colour just over 5mm. This has been specifically set, this is not an 'off white' as it were diamond. Very frequently blue and yellow stones be it sapphires or diamonds were set together. This central diamond measures 0.65ct and is flawless to the naked eye, with a 20x loupe clarity is estimated at Si1
Old cut diamonds; 1-1.5mm.
Ring head; 19 x 9.5mm
These stunning natural sapphires exude the Edwardian/ Art Deco cusp Ear. A beautiful piece. This is a very substantial ring in wonderful condition and superb quality, you just do not find these pieces!
No evidence of heat treatment to the sapphires
